Through the years, Chief Deputy Timmerman has held several titles here at the Mercer County Sheriff's Office.
Timmerman began his law enforcement career here at the Sheriff’s Office at 16 while in the Explorer Program. In 1994, he was hired as a 9-1-1 dispatcher and later held various positions throughout the Office: Patrol Division Deputy, Detective, Detective Sergeant, Enforcement Captain, Corrections Captain, and now the Chief Deputy of the Enforcement Division.
